Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia talk:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:14, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for the reminder, completely forgot on Teahouse. RhinosF1 (talk) 18:31, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

Hi RhinosF1! You created a thread called Teahouse welcome messages sent to Bots at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. Unauthorized bot

I have blocked RF1 Bot (talk · contribs) which you operated in violation of Wikipedia:Bot policy. Please review this document. Favonian (talk) 12:13, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

@Favonian: How? WP: BOTUSERSPACE. It's operation was confirmed to be exempt from BRfA at WP:BOTREQ.
(edit conflict)Hmm, I see that you have made a request at WP:BOTREQ#Creating redirect to main userpage from subpages. but that the bot still hasn't received the bot flag. I'll unblock the account, but please wait for the flag before releasing the bot! Favonian (talk) 12:22, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
@Favonian: As advised there, exempt under WP: BOTUSERSPACE. RhinosF1 (talk) 12:24, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
Right, I apologize for acting in haste. The bot was doing a lot of redirects very quickly, though. Favonian (talk) 12:26, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
@Favonian:The bots runs in sets as per the task. If it needs slowing down, I will. If you would rather a BRfA takes place, I will. RhinosF1 (talk) 12:31, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
I'd recommend getting the flag, if only because your bot aroused another bot. Incidentally, adding a "ping" to an already signed comment, like you did here, has no effect. Favonian (talk) 12:37, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
Okay, I will RhinosF1 (talk) 12:40, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
