Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. you may not be aware but when editing music related articles there are several significant policy page: WP:SONGS, WP:notability (music), WP:record charts. I've reverted your edits to Ride (Ciara song) for the following reasons:

  1. If you follow the amazon sources or even go to www.amazon.com and look for the song you'll find there are two versions of the song - clean and ordinary. one was released april 26, the other 27.

#Your edits changed sourced information in relation to the point above.

  1. You did not attempt to discuss why you felt my orginal reversion of your edit was incorrect.
  2. Your paragraph titled Single Release and chart performance contains redundent information because all of the information is already written at least once already and so there was no need to duplicate such information.

In future please use the WP:edit summary and discuss edits either on my talk page or the article's talkpage. Alternatively for test edits use the WP:sandbox. Lil-unique1 (talk) 02:00, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

:I m sorry but the past is no standard for current pages. I haven't been editing other Ciara articles. However i did start editing "Ride" and i'm adhering to the rules and policies above as well as with other excellent single articles. There is more than one standard which is acceptable but considering the relative size of the article there is no need for a redudent section. All of that information was already contained in the article and i summarised the charts info next to the charts because again there is no requirements for so many sections in a small article. And like i said above you could get the song from amazon on april 26.Lil-unique1 (talk) 02:05, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

::Why are you removing the alternative version from the article? an explicit and no explicit version have been released. Lil-unique1 (talk) 02:16, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK granted I got the clean/dirty version thing wrong because Amazon has changed and updated their website. However the song was released april 26 not 27th. we have to go buy the sources. Just look at I Got You (Leona Lewis song) which is an article of similar size to "Ride" it works well that way. And by the way ... mass reverting within 20 mins like you've done is not acceptable manner of editing. I asked you to discuss your edits first not to leave a comment then carry it. It could in the future earn you a block/ban from editing. Lil-unique1 (talk) 02:27, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
