Infobox military unit allegiance parameter

Hi RicLightning, you added an |allegiance= parameter to the {{Infobox military unit}} for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines articles. The parameter according to the template documentation is "Used to indicate the allegiance of units which are not part of the regular armed forces of a sovereign state". The UK is sovereign state therefore there is no need to add "King of the United Kingdom". Regards, Melbguy05 (talk) 08:28, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

@RicLightning Its great that you are bent upon trying to find a new infobox picture for Prince William's article just like you did for James, Earl of Wessex. I wish you the best in your pursuit of your goal but in case you feel you can contribute and put in your valuable suggestions so as to bring the Prince's article to FA status please do so by joining in the conversation and becoming a part of Wikipedia:WikiProject British Royalty/William, Prince of Wales task force.
