wikification of dates

I noticed that you wikified the dates in King George's Fields, and I have a question for you. Assuming the article were at some point to be proposed for Featured Article status the reviewers would probably ask "why are all the dates, especially the day of the month, wikilinked?" and base their question on the contextual value of such a link. I am not concerned one way or the other, but am interested in your opinion. I suppose the real question is "When should a day of the month be wikified?" Fiddle Faddle 13:11, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

I believe this follows the Manual of Style for dates. Wikilinking allows the user's date preferences (US/World/ISO) to be applied. Day and month, or day and month and year should be linked, month and year or year alone should not, in general. Thanks for you question. Rich257 13:25, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Jim Breuer incident

My name is Rain Smith, and I'm a journalist with the Kingsport Times-News in Tennessee.

However, I'm contacting you in regards to a freelance piece I've just began compiling, tentatively entitled, "When Comedians Loose Their Cool: Standup's Most Horrific Meltdowns."

According to past postings on wikipedia, which you contributed to, comedian Jim Breuer experienced such an incident at Washington University's freshman orientation, Sept. 25, 2003.

So, I'm hoping you actually witnessed this meltdown, or can point me towards the source you used.

Warsong Gulch

I think we can expand the battleground session and i started it by creating new pages for this subject. I am in the process of posting a Warsong Gulch strategy and plan to do so for other battlegrouns. Beside that its disposition on a regular Instance page is questionable since it is diferent on playability and objectives. So i strongly recomend that you avoid reverting the page to its former state.

I also think that we should implement specific pages to other instances since this page in its current state have little or no useful information.

Cambridge

Hello; you reverted my edit to Cambridge. However, I'm pretty sure that Cambridge, England, is twinned with Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is shown on the Sister Cities International directory: [1] --Schzmo 22:58, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

It is indeed listed there, however Cambridge City Council say otherwise: http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/community-and-living/twinning/ and the signs at the edge of the city agree with the website (these could potentially be out of date). That was my reason for not believing it. You could consider discussing this on the Cambridge (UK) article talk page. Rich257 08:43, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
