Thanks for fixing the Super Bowl rosters I added to Super Bowl XXI, I added them when I first started here and wasn't sure how to use the templates. I originally planned to add them to every Super Bowl. However I added them wrong and would have had to start over, since it's such tedious work I stopped. Thanks for fixing it though, now that I am getting around to do them all right it's much appreciated. Quadzilla99 12:50, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

I think you could have phrased that more gently. My point is that as the formula appears on another site and predates the entry on Wikipedia (I presume) then it's not original research on Wikipedia. True, the site may not be a reliable source — I'm not familiar enough with the current discussion forums for mathematics to say whether this is a suitable source.
I'm not actually that bothered whether the specific article lives or dies, however the process allows me to remove the prod if I want to, which I did. You have used the AfD process, which is just fine. Rich257 17:28, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, just because something appears on another site previous to Wikipedia does not imply that it is not original research. That is actually the point of NOR; physics cranks, for example, often put up stuff on Wikipedia that they already put on another website.
