Richard Sprenger

[edit]

Your new article has some issues that must be addressed in order to be retained at Wikipeida.

  1. The article reads like and advertisement: it looks as if it is trying to solicit business for Highfield by extolling the expertise of its Manager.
  2. The article relies almost entirely on primary sources: sources which are published by the source himself. The only exception is the brief mention of Sprenger in the Clean Middle East journal article.
  3. The article does not sufficiently assert the notability of Mr Sprenger. The article claims that Mr Sprenger is an "internationally recognized expert on food safety", but what it appears to be from the text given is that he is a particularly successful consultant whose expertise appears to be largely self-manufactured.

If more independent sources can be found to assert Mr Sprenger's notability, this would be desirable. If not, the article may face deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:55, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious fact

[edit]

You have added a fact to the Richard Sprenger article indicating that Sprenger and his wife were name to the Doncaster Free Press "Power 50" list. I have searched the website of the Free Press and find no mention of Sprenger, or of them even having published a "Power 50" list. I have marked this fact as dubious. You are free to remove this tag if you have the actual print newspaper available to you to verify the fact, or to remove the fact if it is not verifiable.
