Please, be calm.

Your modifications to Portuguese phonology and Portuguese language were drastic and you haven't given us any source that would corroborate your afirmations. So FelipeS, that has as many rights as you, reverted to what he thought it was more correct.

It's how Wikipedia works. Please avoid stuff like: ll be accusing you of extreme disrespect and persecution to my contributions. Your conduct is miserable. It's not kind of you.

I have reverted your modifications again. Before accusing me of vandalism, please go to the Talk:Portuguese phonology page.

This is VASCO AMARAL, from Portugal (as i do not know if you are a countrymen, i'll write in English) and this were you (nice) words to me: "Removed major changes by a rude anonymous user. There's no «way to go» for your biases POV. And if you keep insisting with grudge and edit wars, page will be submitted for locking."

First of all, i am not anonymous in a malicious way, i do not have an account because i do NOT need one: i enter, i see what i think can be worked on and helped on, then i change and save (with a justification) and then people can change it back and/or better if they think they have a better idea. But NEVER, NEVER call me a person who POVs, just look at a sentence i removed: "Despite that, people of Setúbal still argue that if Pedroto (the most successful manager to ever command the Sadinos) had not left the team in the middle of the season, Vitória FC would have had overcome its giant opponents and would have gone on to become the National Champion for the first time". IF THIS IS NOT POV, I DO NOT KNOW. This is an encyclopedia, it does not go well with wishing situations (what would happen if Pedroto did not leave Setúbal, what would happen if Jesus was a girl), and just check my edit history to see if i AM A VANDAL AND A POV-MAN or just the opposite.

Only wanted to help in Setúbal's article and all others, but FEAR NO MORE, i am leaving WIKIPEDIA for good (at least in what edits are concerned), your sentence, in which i was treated like a vandal who writes obscenities and/or nonsense ("...keep insisting with grudge and edit wars, page will be submitted for locking"), made me realize i do not want to HELP anymore, if this is the reward i get...

Just some clarifications regarding my edits to VITÓRIA FC (and my final words at this site):

What did i alter (and again i say, in no way maliciously, only trying to help):

  • FIRST: OVERLY detailed info about 1973-74 season (there i could have been wrong, since there is no article on wikipedia with that season).
  • SECOND: THIS: "In those years Vitória disputed and won several tournaments around the world, making history with its quality of game, a wonder to football fans. Nowadays, the club is fighting to reach that kind of performance, inspired in the recent Portuguese cup conquest, as well the Iberian cup against Real Betis, and the three presences in the UEFA cup in the past six years". THIS INFO IS NOT VERY USEFUL IN AN ENCYCLOPEDIA ("Nowadays" written with no date alluded, "a wonder to football fans" is POV of the highest order, etc)
  • THIRD: RIVALRY: "The matches are somewhat tense with both clubs contesting who has the higher number of supporters. Nevertheless the quarrelsomeness is bigger on the Vitória de Guimarães side, since the club is 12 years younger and, as they wrote in their history books, the people from Guimarães adopted the name "Vitoria" as a tribute to Vitória de Setúbal, who at the time was capturing the attention of the country due the quality of the football team. So they changed the name to «Vitória Sport Clube» because «Vitória Futebol Clube» was already chosen by the Setúbal side". I COULD BE WRONG HERE TOO, BUT IT SEEMED A BIT ON THE POV-SIDE TOO!

AND THAT WAS ALL I ERASED (right or wrong, only wanted to help), and after that composed "COACH section" and "CURRENT SQUAD" (would a "rude user" do that?), and my use of the word "RUBBISH" was not an insult, it meant "ARTICLE FULL OF UNUSEFUL INFO" and i don't like TALK PAGES all that much, i prefer to do my changes and justify on EDIT SUMMARIES; if somebody has a better idea, fine, no problem, they revert it.

I am not affiliated to ANY CLUB, so i am NOT ANTI-VITÓRIA SETÚBAL, or anti-ANYCLUBATALL!, and i am 100% sure FC PORTO and SPORTING, BAYERN, FC BARCELONA's articles, being bigger in content (more lines), have much more POV in it! Only reason i chose some Portuguese clubs (NACIONAL, MARÍTIMO, PENAFIEL, etc) was because the article was smaller and more easy to edit, no lack of RESPECT THERE! I did not want to waste more time in my life spending hours arranging articles of BIG CLUBS (it would take much more time).

I have insulted people (check my edit history, since late 2006 i believe) when i was SURE they were vandalizing, but here, i was only trying to do my best and was called a "rude user" and threatened with stuff if i continued (be safe, i won't) to engage in edit-wars.

An example of what i tried to do here, and found articles of such poor quality it made a person want to throw up (obviously, fans of teams who wanted their 15 minutes of fame, writing for instance all the top clubs in the world are after this or that player, when clearly THEY ARE NOT) could be this one: check my 6 September 2007 (at 21:17) edit of SERGIO CONTRERAS PARDO (known as KOKE) and its talk page with me explaining what i did, i admit i used some excited language, but did not threaten anyone, maybe you will see then i was only trying to help...NOT ANYMORE, MY FRIEND, NOT ANYMORE

Mr. George (or JORGE, since i found out your first language is Portuguese and so you must be a countryman but, since i think you have a pattern that consists in speaking English in this site, which is understandable (even when discussing something with user EXPLENDIDOROCHA, which also seems Portuguese because of nickname), VASCO AMARAL AGAIN, saying HAPPY EASTER to you and adding this (and keeping in mind your last contribution to WP was on March 8, you must be on WIKI-HOLIDAYS so, when you return you will have 3 messages from me shedding light on some subjects):

I stayed true to my promise, no more editing whatsoever, no more helping if the reward i get is "rude anonymous user" and other threats. However, i will still pop up now and then and check out some articles, without touching anything of course. Incidentally, while browsing VITÓRIA SETÚBAL's page, i found out JUST FOR YOU what a REAL VANDAL, ASSHOLE AND MORON can do, and then you can compare his "efforts" with mine. This "person", anonymous like me (VASCO AMARAL) does not even have a talkpage, to be insulted like he/she deserves, made this "contribution" at 19:47, 21 March 2008 (user nº 70.45.167.244). I wont even tell what he/she wrote, not to spoil the surprise. As i said, THIS IS A REAL VANDAL!!!

Chamou, chamou, estamos em público e tudo o que fazemos é passível de ser considerado. Sejamos adultos. Não mandes pedras aos telhados dos outros, porque actuar de uma maneira e depois impor moral inversa noutra situação tem um nome pouco agradável. Pois desculpa lá, mas pela maneira como te insurges (e tratas por tu - só faltava o «pá»), bem poderias ser sócio do PCP. Esses é que são especialistas em rescrever a história usando complexas teias e estruturas operacionais, repletas de falácias lógicas e «double-standards» muito apuradas e manipulativas. Já sabemos que a Wikipedia também usa muito dessa política, por isso é que ela tem tão «boa fama» cá fora, mas felizmente há muita gente que não vai nessa. Eu não vou. Agora que já tenho 100% de dados sobre a tua/sua cidadania, posso "pôr-me à vontade" na língua de Camões: No dia 8 de Março de 2008, fui apelidado de "utilizador anónimo malcriado", só (suponho) for usar a palavra RUBBISH (lixo) no artigo do VITÓRIA DE SETÚBAL. Não insultei ninguém (e fui insultado), apenas me referi à pobre qualidade do artigo, tal como o meu amigo o fez no dia 29 Julho do mesmo ano ("Esta página está cada vez pior, é cá de um mau gosto. Vão à página de discussão ou o artigo poderá ser bloqueado", foram as palavras exactas).

Resultado: sou um utilizador MALCRIADO, anónimo por acaso sou. Tentei entrar em contacto com o meu caro, TRÊS VEZES, e a resposta foi a que eu (não) vi. Por isso, talvez o caro RICARDO não seja o mais indicado para falar de rudeza, anónima ou não.

Sr. "VASCO", eu não tenho muito tempo para isto. Você exagera, sobre-interpretou uma frase e levou a peito de tal forma palavras corriqueiras (sem intenção de ofender) que parece andar a perseguir-me. Não era minha intenção magoá-lo assim tão profundamente. Está em alguma missão pessoal? Eu até Deus, blasfemo e ele não guarda rancores (acho eu).
Não consegue esquecer uma banalidade da vida? Nunca blasfemou alguém a conduzir, por exemplo?
Se eu fosse assim tão interpretativo, achava que você está a gritar, pois é isso que configura o uso de «MAIÚSCULAS PARA REALÇAR PONTOS» nos discursos da Internet. Mas não ligo; já você não consegue esquecer uma troca de galhardetes inofensiva. Como é que você lida na vida real com as vicissitudes? Sai do carro no semáforo e tenta bater no taxista que lhe dirigiu uma parvoíce?
O que faz você na vida para ter assim tanto tempo para se massacrar com estas minudências?

Falando bem a sério (e aproveitando a oportunidade "cibernáutica" para deixar bem claro que não é minha intenção persegui-lo, valha-me Deus, não sou "desses"), tenho que fazer esta pergunta, é que fiquei de cabeça à roda...

Como gente civilizada (eu, e o meu caro também), só pergunto porque tenho dúvidas (faz-se normalmente assim, não é?), o que é "se bem que não tenho intenção de embarcar nisto e lá ir fazer esta festa toda, que é desproporcionada e bem no campo do esquisito".

Pensava que tinha sido claro na minha abordagem e, sinceramente, pensava que o Ricardo tinha sido ofensivo para comigo, e tentei abordar as nossas "diferenças" (fossem elas imaginárias ou reais); mais uma vez, reitero as minhas desculpas se pareci "amalucado" e/ou persecutório.

Ah, e o facto de eu ser anónimo ou não é 100% irrelevante, quando se querem fazer contribuições de uma maneira bem intencionada.
