Mieke Bal - Narratology

[edit]

There is currently no page on Mieke Bal or her major contribution to narratology and feminist studies. I am currently re-reading her Narratology and will begin drafting a page on her work. The way I see it, there are two possibilities:

One Page: Biography, Narratology, Feminism

Two Pages: One on Mieke Bal herself, another on her book Narratology: Introduction to the Theory of Narrative.

I am only qualified to write a page on her book, but I feel that the one page would be more appropriate. I can provide some basic biographical information on her, based on materials from her book and her various university-related web pages. On her studies in feminism, however, I have very limited knowledge. So:

Is there anyone out there who has studied Mieke Bal's feminist work and who is willing to help me round out her page? I am picturing the following structure, based on the standard for Wiki biography pages on scholars:

1) Biographical Information/Overview
(table of contents)
2) Early Career - Narratology
3) Later Career - Feminist Studies
4) Publishing Credits/Major Works List
(External links, References, Etc)

Thank you and I hope to hear from someone.

Richard

Dr. Paez

You, good sir, are more of a gent than was once thought. I applaud your ethics and outlook. You would do well to be a man of utter religious fervor, perhaps.
Sincerely?
