Nice to see you show up. I stated the Granville Carter article very recently as a "stub" - the wikipedia term for a started article - and you have filed it in wonderfully. I have a couple suggestions for you, hoping that you will stay around and contribute more. Don't make much out of any connection that you might have with Carter, there is a group of editors who frown on folks writing about people close to them. Secondly, if you put something, anything on your user page then your signature will show up as a blue link rather than a red one, basically suggesting that you are not a rookie editor. Anyway, thanks so much for you time and energy. Any chance that you could come up with a copyright free picture of Carter, and perhaps some of his works? One rule on wikipedia is that you don't post on other folks User Page, and another is Ignore All Rules, so I just blued your user name because red user names are like red flags to some editors and I always prefer flying under that radar. The universe works in mysterious ways, but I believe that there are no coincidences, that all this timing is there to allow something to happen. One of those things is posting pictures. Your best option is to claim copyright for all the pictures that you use, you will need to let go of the rights for the particular versions you post here, so if it matters, use a small one done at 72 dpi. I have posted many hundreds (who knows?) of my pictures here and am not attached to copyrights, but I know some folks are. Here is a question. Did GC do anything that might be termed Architectural sculpture? At the National Cathedral, for example. If "Yes" then I would like to discuss that with you. Thanks so much for making more fixes, and now no more red - fixed the Baldwin NY link. Where did you find out the info on Sidney Waugh? I am amazed that you ferret out the names of the instructors for Carter and Waugh!

I have a lot more on Waugh, just not up to dong it. Because he was an architectural sculptor he came into my area of interest years ago. I also have a fairly extensive collection of books on sculpture and sculptors including a little one about Waugh. When he showed up as a red link here I decided that I had to get something started on him. He shows up in half a dozen or more other articles, now all ( I hope) wikilinked.
