Hello, Richzy1992, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Dashboard data

[edit]

Hi Richzy1992. The data on the dashboard isn't "live" - it refreshes every hour or so. You shouldn't be concerned if there's a short lag like this. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:21, 26 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Container Terminal Design Process has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

It's just an outline and not an article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This is, as Bgwhite correctly pointed out, an outline, not an article. I moved it to User:Richzy1992/Container Terminal Design Process where you can develop it. Please don't create outlines like this in mainspace, use your sandboxox. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:23, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Userspace and Articlespace

[edit]

Hello, please be aware that articlespace (the (article) option in the drop-down menu in the "Move" window) is only meant for complete articles. I have moved your outline about container terminal design process back to userspace, because it is an incomplete article that should not be renamed until it is entirely finished. --HyperGaruda (talk) 08:47, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
