Welcome!

Hello, Rickybear2009, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as ZAP - JONWAY, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on ZAP - JONWAY requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Warnings[edit]

July 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from ZAP (motor company). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--Auric (talk) 22:19, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Biker Biker (talk) 09:44, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest?[edit]

It seems to me, looking at your edits, that you may have a conflict of interest. If you are connected to Zap then you should be very careful about your edits to that company's article and any related articles. --Biker Biker (talk) 12:54, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to ZAP (motor company). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. You appear to be an employee of this company, and you appear to be using this article for public relations purposes. Wikipedia is not a public relations outlet. Please consider leaving the editing of this article to people who are not involved with ZAP directly. Ebikeguy (talk) 14:08, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to ZAP (motor company), you may be blocked from editing. You appear to be an employee of this company, and you appear to be using this article for public relations purposes. Wikipedia is not a public relations outlet. Please consider leaving the editing of this article to people who are not involved with ZAP directly. Ebikeguy (talk) 14:10, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Ed (Edgar181) 15:01, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocking decision[edit]

Right now I've been blocked, not happy with the situation but I do accept the criticism based on my one sided approach, although I do consider that a full overview of the article should've been done even before I decided to add my researched contributions.

The consensus on keeping the controversy section as the only detailed and extensive information about the company showed how the negative article published on WIRED was the only mainstream source of information that any consumer such as myself could obtain from Wikipedia about ZAP, so I have dedicated part of my time to change this misleading idea.

At least at this point there is some balanced data on ZAP's presentation here in Wikipedia, and I am sure that wider sources of information will be used to support any biased information in the future.

Regards and keep up the good works.
