Commenting in article[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Westlake Village, California. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. This page is Westlake Village the community”[edit]

For many years this page was inclusive to the entire community of Westlake Village. Westlake Village is a community that is on both sides of the County line. Somebody has hijacked this page and keeps insisting this page is for only the city now. Whoever is doing this is attempting to divide our community.

  Here are some facts that need to be addressed:

1. Properties on the Thousand Oaks/Ventura County side, are listed in the Ventura County recorders office as “Westlake Village”. This is a fact that can be proven. 2. Many of the notable residents listed are in the Thousand Oaks portion of Westlake Village. It’s interesting how whoever is making these edits will not remove those names. 3. Westlake Blvd. Westlake Elementary School and Westlake High School are all in the Thousand Oaks / Ventura side of the line. 4. The original community on both sides of the County line, was in fact “Westlake Village” and the original brochure proves it. The City was not created until many years later. The brochure shows communities on both sides off the County line and is labeled “Westlake Village.” Rivers17Rules (talk) 12:06, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
