A tag has been placed on Reefkeeping requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. mhking (talk) 21:12, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Reefkeeping, you will be blocked from editing. mhking (talk) 22:11, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Where?

[edit]
  1. Can I create a sandbox of my own with multiple pages?
  2. Would Wikiversity (or other sister project) be more appropriate to put this stuff?
  3. Would it be OK to use the following setup: "reefkeeping" article referring to "reefkeeping chemistry" main page. Then have those main pages referring to more detailed external information (e.g. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-07/rhf/index.php) and Wiki articles going beyond reefkeeping (e.g. Calcium).

Rjvencken via e-mail.

  • You may create as many pages as you want with titles beginning with User:Rjvencken/ But unless you are actually contributing to articles, you run the risk of being told that "Wikipedia is not a free host".
  • Wikiversity is inappropriate - this ain't exactly an academic subject. Even Wikibooks may consider it not academic enough. WikiHow (not a Wikimedia project) seems to accept almost anything and does not care about duplication.
  • I recommend you to write a short (say 2 kbytes max.) article here introducing the subject. Create plenty of incoming links to it then leave it for two weeks to see what happens. Meanwhile carry on with your big article on a different wiki.

Your article submission Cassian (musician)

[edit]

Hello Rjvencken. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Cassian (musician).

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Cassian (musician)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 05:44, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
