Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Rebecca Bradley (judge), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. It's risky to edit your own article if you're in politics![edit]

If you are connected to Rebecca Bradley, it's very risky to get caught editing that biography. It gets in the news very quickly and then it blows up. Here's a recent example that's turned into a huge stink for the officials involved:

More important to their political lives was all the local coverage. It was the lead story for a couple of news cycles.

The press loves "judge edits own Wikipedia article stories". Of course, in this case they especially loved "politicians threaten Wikipedia editors". This happens somewhere every week or two.

If you think that article is incorrect, use Talk:Rebecca Bradley to discuss the edits you recommend others make (consistent with our content guidelines)

You're already on thin ice depending on who looks at the (public) edit history of the article.

It's made it into the news. I've taken the liberty of advising on the admin notice board as to the conflict of interest and apparent edit warring now going on today, requesting admin look into the matter and semi-protecting the article until the news blows over.Wzrd1 (talk) 18:28, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
