Your RFA was unsuccessful

I have closed your RFA. I am afraid there was no consensus to promote you. Please address the concerns that were raised and feel free to reapply in the future. Good luck. --Deskana (talk) 13:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Hands up anybody who didn't see that one coming? *puts hand up* Yeah I thought so. I don't think I'll bother, at least until it's been about 6 months or so so I can firmly lock in my improvements over my existing streak. --lincalinca 13:05, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Don't be down hearted, and I look forward to a future RfA when you have addressed the concerns raised. Best Wishes. Pedro :  Chat  14:08, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm not all that downhearted. It shows a more realistic position of where I'm at, where I need improving and what I can do about it. It's a hell of a lot more effective in attaining a response than doing an editor review, which seems to be relatively ignored because it doesn't really get much response and often people aren't as honest as when they are asked whether to put a mop in a person's hand, so to speak. But I appreciate your input pedro. I'd vote for pedro. --lincalinca 14:11, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Ditto from me. Let me know if I can help, now or in the future... The Rambling Man 14:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for thanking me, but I didn't actually vote in your RfA... Best wishes Chubbles 15:37, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I agree with the above. I think you need more time to familiarize yourself with the core policies and to tell the differences b/n free and fair use images. However, I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get one of those cool thank you templates. Miranda 08:21, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Your RfA

I'm sorry you didn't pass. Everything looked fine to me. Don't be discouraged by it. I think you're doing good work. Get back on the horse and try again in a while. Cheers, Pigmanwhat?/trail 18:06, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I would echo that. Please don't be disheartened; you are a valuable contributor here and if there is ever anything I can do to help you, please don't hesitate to ask. Best wishes to you, --John 18:11, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Your RfA (reply)

I am sorry to hear you didn't succeed in your RfA. I'm sure that, if you take note of all the pointers left down people who commented on your RfA, you will become a very good admin in the future. Make sure you are an active participant in Wikiprojects and Wikipedia-space activities and a good article developer. Show competance all-round, including helping struggling users and communicating well with everybody active on Wikipedia. I'm sure you will succeed in the future. Please ask if you need help or are struggling with anything. Best wishes, Lradrama 18:35, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Per the instructions at the top of the WP:FAR page, please complete the notifications of relevant WikiProjects and involved editors and post the notifications back at Wikipedia:Featured article review/Anne Frank; you can follow the samples on other FARs on that page. Thanks, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:44, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

A bit of contradiction around the article...were Wish You Well and Songbird actually singles, or did they just go on radio? IIRC the latter is the case... — H2O —  09:49, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Re. Time on Earth - I have no idea what you want with this - typical me :) It doesn't seem to have been added, though...by the way, that article should go to GAC. — H2O —  23:55, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

My RFA

Thanks for the suggestions (might make a good project for this spring), and for being willing to voice your concerns. If you genuinely aren't comfortable with my credentials, then you shouldn't feel pressured into supporting me. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 00:49, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Your RFA

I'm late to reply. Next time you'll achieve it. After all Hasta La Vista Baby :). --NAHID 18:19, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

You're never too late! Thanks for voting for me and giving your support! I believe next time I run, I'll make it, but in the buffer that fills the time from now till then, I'll dedicate my time towards amending my flawed editing (and most importantly, uploading) so that I can avoid the opposition and objections! Thanks again! --lincalinca 02:03, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Thank you bunches!

Thank you so much for suppporting my RfA. I was promoted with a total of (44/1/0) - a vote of confidence from the community that I find humbling and motivating. I will not abuse your trust. Look forward to working with you! (Esprit15d 21:34, 5 November 2007 (UTC))

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:I See Red 1989.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:I See Red 1989.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Code

Hi, Linca. I believe it was you that posted a code that would allow me to link to a specific place in an article, or page. It was something simple, but I can't remember it. If you have a moment, could you let me know what this code is? Regards, LaraLove 13:09, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Linca. I found it right after I asked, then lost internet connection, then forgot to come tell you. I'm a mess right now, I tell ya, lol. I appreciate it. :) LaraLove 21:08, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

LOTD proposal

You either voted on the original list of the day proposal or the revised version. A more modest experimental proposal is now at issue at WP:LOTDP. Feel free to voice your opinion.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 17:28, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Template:Dominionism

Hi Linca. The Template:Dominionism TfD, on which you commented, has been closed with no consensus (default to keep). Although the TfD debate touched on several issues regarding the form the infobox should now take, much seems unresolved. I invite you to participate in further discussion on this topic. Thank you. --BlueMoonlet (t/c) 05:16, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
