Mini-infobox for proposed routes

[edit]

Hello, I recently noticed your creation of NC 417, and while I am fine with most of it, the only parts I believe doesn't belong is the History in the infobox and the mini-infobox for proposed US 17 Bypass. I say this because there are countless proposals by local leaders wanting this or that, but if it was never pursued beyond the initial phase then it is merely a footnote. While discussion in the History section is fine, I believe the Infobox History and mini-infobox gives it more weight than it actually had, which was a idea that didn't go anywhere (no NCDOT support, no AASHTO, no nothing). --WashuOtaku (talk) 02:15, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That makes sense. I went ahead and removed these. I left a bolded mention of US 17 Bypass in the route designation subsection, but I removed it from the lead section as well. Roadsguy (talk) 02:49, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of highways numbered 140, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Interstate 140 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have closed the merge discussion to incorporate the article into Interstate 74 in North Carolina. You are welcome to follow-up in making the merge happen as you discussed back in January. --WashuOtaku (talk) 13:35, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

1 year overdue merge

[edit]

In this discussion, you volunteered to merge North Carolina Highway 74 into Interstate 74 in North Carolina. This happened almost a year ago, so why haven't you done so? HighwayTyper (talk) 17:15, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I had forgotten about it after becoming busy with real life stuff soon after. I'm not entirely sure why I didn't just do it right away; I think I just overestimated how much work it would take to actually perform the merge, which turned out to not be much at all. Anyway, it's done now. Roadsguy (talk) 05:27, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
