Chuck[edit]

"Chuck" by the Phunk Junkeez was never released as a single, that's why it hasn't been given special mention. It's a great song though. :) Ch3mi0n (talk) 05:37, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Exploded polyhedra[edit]

How do you make Stella show an image like ? Professor M. Fiendish, Esq. 14:13, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, that message was 3 years ago and I've only just noticed it! I've updated my email options now so I should get emailed for any further messages here (I'm sure I looked for that option years ago and couldn't find it).

The best place to ask questions about Stella is on the forum: http://www.software3d.com/Forums/

To answer your question, if you're still out there, I would create that model in Great Stella or Stella4D by starting with an octagonal prism, augmenting it on each side with another prism, then augmenting on each side again with a cupola, then extracting the intermediate octagonal prism. Just tried and it took about a minute. RobertCWebb (talk) 03:28, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks! But how do you extract the intermediate octagonal prism? Double sharp (talk) 14:51, 12 April 2014 (UTC) (Same editor, new name. Would have taken it to the forums, but wanted to keep the discussion together.)[reply]
Put an octagonal prism into a memory slot first (type "m1"), then select one of the faces of the octagonal prisms you want to extract and use augmentation again. Select "Excavate" rather than "Augment" and in the "Augment using..." section choose "Memory". RobertCWebb (talk) 07:48, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

But what about http://www.software3d.com/Downloads.php? On this page was text "free download". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trilelea (talkcontribs) 09:27, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As stated on that page, DEMO versions of the software can be downloaded for free. If you like the demo, then you can pay for the full version. RobertCWebb (talk) 09:59, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
