Look what I found

I know that talk pages are only to talk about Wikipedia but since your offline on AIM I will post it here. While looking on eBay I found a rare Iron Maiden cassette from Korea, something I believe your very interested in lolz (http://cgi.ebay.com/IRON-MAIDEN-BRAVE-NEW-WORLD-/390246576939?pt=Music_Cassettes&hash=item5adc82332b). Anyways hope to talk to you soon. AJona1992 (talk) 20:34, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Wow! Amazing find!!! Thanks!!! :-) Sentcha a bunch of offline msgs (you werent on when I signed in) and a couple when I guess you were away from your computer, but I'll be heading back to civilization soon, at which point I think we should plug away at your list of articles to create some FAs and at least some GAs. Then I've got a little list of my own we can start on. AIM prolly still the easiest way to plug away at them - worked really well last time. Anyway, I'll look for you tomorrow and maybe we can find some time to do a little more work on one. -R ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 04:40, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Your welcome and yea I just got the messages. Cool can't wait till you get back so we can work on more articles. Hope to talk to you soon. AJona1992 (talk) 12:49, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Editor review transcluded

Hello there. Sometime in the past, you requested an editor review, but you forgot to transclude it onto the main page. Thus, you may have been wondering why no one gave you any reviews. I have now transcluded the request, so please check back in a while for reviews. During the meantime, please consider reviewing another editor. Thanks. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Netalarmtalk 23:17, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Much thanks for the help with that! Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 18:27, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

A quick note of somewhere to check

Thanks for your work to assist AJona. I notice he/she was disatisfied with the comments and process at DYK.

You may have seen it already, but you may like to take a look at User:AJona1992 - as of the time I post this message, it seems to contain some additional misunderstandings whose resolution might help things. (Or, admittedly, they might not.) Example, I am not an admin - from memory, I have no certainty if any of the people who commented on the disputed hook were admins.

May not make any difference, but I thought I would mention it. Good luck! --Demiurge1000 (talk) 04:43, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Excuse you I am a GUY what do you think "JONA" is a girls name really? are you a guy or girl because I can't seem to tell the difference. AJona1992 (talk) 04:47, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Rob, just coming here to leave a message on the same thing following his little one-line outburst at my talk page. DYK has rules, just like any other process, and AJona's interpetation of us DYK reviewers - who do this at our own will without much reward except getting yelled at - application of the rules as ganging up on him is so intrinsically incorrect that this is an issue. Coupled with the very terse uncivil reply given above - a level 3 warning under the mentorsip restrictions, I add -helps none at all. You are best placed to deal with this. Strange Passerby (talkcstatus) 04:59, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the opportunity. We're talking about all of this right now... Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 05:10, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

An update from adopt a user

Hi there RobertMfromLI/Archives/2010! You may be wondering, what have I done to sound the alarm this time? Nothing. I'm messaging you in regards to the adopt-a-user program, which currently has a backlog of users wishing to be adopted. This doesn't make much sense, as we have a considerable list of users offer adoption, so there shouldn't be any backlog. I've begun to eliminate this backlog myself through a matching program, but I need your help to make it work. Of course, adoptees and adopters don't have to go through there, but I believe it helps eliminate the backlog because someone is actively matching pairs.

On the list of adopters, I have modified the middle column to say "Interests." It's easier working with other users that have similar interests, so if it's not too much to ask, could you add your interests in the middle column? For example, if I was interested in hurricanes, computers, business, and ... reptiles? I would place those in the middle column. Counter-vandalism and the like can also be included (maintenance should be used as the general term). The more interests, the better, since adoptees can learn more about you and choose the one they feel most comfortable working with. The information about when you're most active and other stuff can go into the "Notes" section to the right.

Finally, I've gone around and asked adoptees (and will in the future) to fill in a short survey so adopters can take the initiative and contact users they feel comfortable working with. We all know that most adoptees just place the adopt me template on their user page and leave it - so it's up to us to approach them and offer adoption. So, please take a look at the survey, adopt those that fit your interests, and maybe watchlist it so you can see the interests of adoptees and adopt one that fits your interests in the future.

Once again, thank you for participating in the adopt-a-user program! If you wish to respond to this post, please message me on my talk page.

Robert... Thanks for your comment at the GL Idaho talk page. The relevancy issue relates to the entire paragraph, and not just the sentence that was removed. So, as you said, the tag should be returned. However, I doubt Doncram will do so himself... and as he has goaded me into edit warring in the past at other articles, and I don't want to be accused of it again, I am reluctant to return it myself. If you think the tag should be returned, I would appreciate it if you would do the honors. Thanks Blueboar (talk) 18:13, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

If you (or someone else) thinks the tag should be returned, then it should be until a discussion is completed and a consensus (for or against the relevancy) is reached. ;-) I've returned the tag. Perhaps though, it was the sentence I mentioned that was thought to be irrelevant, in which case the tag's removal was in good faith. -Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 21:14, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

What to do when an entry has major problems?

Thanks for your input re: my recent actions on the Homosexuality and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints page. I assure you that "sanitizing" is not my intent. The entry was/still is a total mess. It's not written at all in an encyclopedic fashion. It is full of dead links. It looks like two competing sides got into a fight over issues that aren't really in dispute.

I've honestly never bothered to get in and edit a page. But this one really needs some work.

Advice on how to go about suggesting MAJOR revisions-- without getting changes reverted? I want to do it right, but this stuff needs fixed. Adkinsc1 (talk) 06:06, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Adkinsc1

Mexico's bicentennial

My students and I are working on the Celebration of Mexican political anniversaries in 2010 if you´d like to through your two cents' in. Its definitely a work in progress.Thelmadatter (talk) 16:51, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi!

Hiiiii!!!

In my english Class we have an assigment which is about writting and article. The article is going to be in teams, but we need to find topics first. So my question is if you have any ideas? it can be about a dead person, a place, or just somehting interesting that hasn't been written before in Wikipedia. Can you think of anything good to write about?! Please help me. Thank you very much. ZairaTheoneinblue (talk) 02:37, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

(talk page stalker): A good place to start is Category:Pending AfC submissions. You can find many articles that are in need of creation. Pick one and go nuts. Do remember the basics (that page is for deleted articles, but gives you ideas on how to keep your article in the rules and guidelines) and do ask questions. Since Robert appears to be offline, you can ask me since I will be online for awhile. - NeutralhomerTalk • 02:41, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Also, if you're interested in writing about people, you might want to take a look at Wikipedia's most needed articles on people here. I can't guarantee that they're all dead though. >.> Netalarmtalk 04:16, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
(Thanks gang!) Hi Zaira! What they said! :-) Once you pick an article or subject to work on, let me know - and of course let me know how I can help with it. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 16:19, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi everyone! sorry for bother you!

But I was going to ask; if you can see my contribution on Celebration of Mexican political anniversaries in 2010. My team part was SOUTH of the country. So if you can check for bad grammar or incorect citation, of course if you have time, I will be thankful. Also we have the idea to write about Street Marketing! Like the new way to do marketing. what you think? good topic? You think we can find GOOD information? THaNKS for helping. Theoneinblue (talk) 01:26, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Mediation

OK... I have a fresh example of the type of behavior I object to with Doncram... see the edit history of Order of Women Freemasons. His instant reaction to my ONLY edit to that article was a revert. His talk page comment shows that he assumed my edit was in some way malicious and directed at him personally. Once another editor disagreed with him he backed off. This makes me thing that what he objects to isn't the edit... it's the editor (ie me). Blueboar (talk) 13:49, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

This post by Blueboar is an example of one of the difficult-to-deal-with behaviors of Blueboar, that he has split the discussion, to open discussion at yet another place. It says things in a slightly different way, makes slightly new accusations and misrepresentation, and the split itself undermines the other discussions. About the content of the edit that I objected to, the correct place to discuss is Talk:Order of Women Freemasons. About Blueboar's generalization about my own behavior, there is the mediation opened by RobertMfromLI. I don't want to respond in a ping-pong way to what Blueboar says here, but just point out the splitting of the discussion as a behavior itself. The multiple splitting behavior is one major way in which Blueboar has been widely disruptive before, in my view. I have had to invest a lot of edits into trying to corral conversation to one place; the more I have done so in past cases the more Blueboar has acted out by opening new discussion sections at more and more User, Article, and Noticeboard talk pages. RobertMfromLI, you have your work cut out for you if you wish to lead a concentrated, useful mediation. I will comment at the mediation now, and wish for there not to be further discussion here. --doncram (talk) 14:49, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
  • NO conversations to me regarding the ongoing mediation attempt except on the mediation page please. I have moved a copy of this there. ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 01:05, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

What part are you confused about? Before you start, you'll want to read the manual. If you have any questions, just post them here. Netalarmtalk 00:11, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
If there is vandalism, do I just click "revert and warn" and it will revert the most recent revision and warn the user? Inka888ContribsTalk 00:15, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Yup. It'll revert all changes made by the user to the last version that was edited by someone else. So if there were two vandals, you're going to have to manually change it to revert both, but most of the time "revert and warn" is enough. Netalarmtalk 00:18, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Status

How would I do my status? Inka888ContribsTalk 04:20, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi. I believe you are mentoring this user (for which you have my utmost respect), and I thought some recent interaction between him and the Guild of Copy Editors might be relevant. He launched an attack on the Guild recently, at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors#Worst ever Wiki project - it has been collapsed now. He behaved very uncivilly and insultingly, simply because the Guild had not immediately jumped to satisfy one of his demands. This was his most uncivil comment. I reverted it and warned him about his behavior, at User talk:AJona1992#October 2010. But as you can see, his response was to blame everyone else for attacking him and to carry on his attacks. Anyway, over to you, in case you think anything needs doing. Best regards -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:21, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Rob: I informed Zebedee of your mentorship of Jon after spotting a thread at Jon's talk page. This isn't the first time he's resorted to attacking projects that he feels haven't helped him (remember this?) – and upon reviewing the diff provided by Zebedee I feel it may be time to ask for a block. Just my opinion as the person who drafted Jon's restrictions. However, you're his mentor. It's your call. Strange Passerby (talkcstatus) 09:30, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
None of those projects have helped me so just drop it! If they did helped me do you think I would just be attacking people for nothing? AJona1992 (talk) 14:51, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
There you go Rob, right from the dragon's mouth. Blocks are not meant to be punitive but preventative, and from the comment Jon has just left here, I don't think he's willing to learn – in which case a block would certainly be preventative to prevent further attacks. Strange Passerby (talkcstatus) 14:55, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
First of all I am not attacking anyone you made a claim about me "he feels that these projects aren't helping him" and I am telling you that none of those projects helped me what aren't you getting? How is that an attack when you aren't understanding what I am trying to tell you? Oh and I'm not going to get mad that you just insulted me hahaha AJona1992 (talk) 15:05, 19 October 2010 (UTC).

(edit conflict) Jona, I explained to you last night (and at AN/I and numerous other times) that you cannot attack people - for any reason. Much less people like the volunteers at GOCE because those volunteers are not doing things as fast as you want and because you don't understand that they are volunteers and overworked ones at that. I also explained to you that what you should have done (besides being civil - PERIOD) was asked them why it was taking so long, in a polite fashion, and see what their response was. And responded to their response civilly as well.
And once again, because people don't jump to help you, when you think you are entitled to it (which you are not), it does NOT give you the right to be uncivil to them. If you wish to continue using Wikipedia, I must insist that every interaction you have from this point forward be civil - period - and without exception.
And I'm sorry, but at this time, I have to ask one of the reviewing admins from the AN/I to review this so they can determine if a block is warranted. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 15:07, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
And yes, what you wrote there is an attack. We discussed that too. I dont care what you say about that - it WAS AN ATTACK. If you didnt mean it as one, then you should have taken my (given numerous times) advice about being careful how you word things, and not posting when you are upset. So, in that, you only have yourself to blame if it wasnt meant as an attack - because it sure seems like one. ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 15:10, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
If I had caught it while it was going on, it would have been blockable. Is it still going on? --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 15:13, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
I was just about to post on your tp asking you to review this. It was still going on to some extent (at least on my talk page) as of a few minutes ago. Over at GOCE, no, I dont believe so. I think that stopped once Jona vented (inappropriately at them). ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 15:18, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
We appear to be all clear at GOCE now, simply because we chose to ignore him and collapse the discussion. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:48, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
LOLZ wasn't that a good thing though? AJona1992 (talk) 16:26, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, but wouldn't it have been much better if either (a) you'd politely asked what's up first, or (b) when you realized that GOCE is a bunch of overworked volunteers, that you apologized for not understanding that and taking your frustration out on them? ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 16:30, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm done with this confo. AJona1992 (talk) 16:42, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Editor review

Sorry it took so long, but I have completed an editor review here. Thanks,VictorianMutant (talk) 03:05, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Thank you very much for the very kind review, and the tips!!! I hope to live up to it all. And yes, as far as I am concerned, I am FAAAR from being ready to be an admin (and would refuse any such offer for quite a while, even beyond 10K edits if I havent had thorough experience in other areas that I currently lack). Thanks again!
Working on formulating how to tackle the OS/2 stuff... lotsa experience in that respect, including being a beta tester, and finding bugs in actual code that were fixed for parts of OS/2 (like the 32bit print subsystem). Problem I have there is, the citations (or more accurately the articles and links) for much of the stuff is rather quickly disappearing.
Interesting note: All of our servers here are OS/2 (Warp Server for eBusiness 2001 release or eComStation). It still amazes me every day what a load they can handle. And I cry a little inside when I've got to go manage a customer's more powerful (hardware wise) but far slower Windows server machines. ;-)
As for Iron Maiden, big passion there. Which is funny, I used to hate them. :-) Semi long story there...
In either or both cases, I'd definitely be happy with collaborating on them to improve them.
Though I havent "published" it to my userpage, I've co-earned an FA (with one of my former adoptees). I did much of the copyedit work, and fixed or found a few citations... (he did the majority of the original writing). Which leaves me to the part I have to work on - actual article creation or major content work. Just usually takes me too long before I'm happy with such - and by then someone else has already created the article. ;-)
Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 03:18, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Does seem like much of the good OS/2 stuff which would be excellent sources for the article is disappearing quickly. As far as content, sometimes it just takes the right articles. I've sort of found a niche with really bad city and county articles- there are a lot of articles I wouldn't think of touching(as far as content are concerned). In any case, copyediting and sourcing is just as important as article creation. I hope to see you around. I might be helping you with that Iron Maiden article soon. I'm a big prog-head and have a lot of respect for Iron Maiden because they're not afraid to cite prog bands (Genesis, Yes, Tull) as an influence. VictorianMutant (talk) 09:05, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Class Project

Hello Robert, thank you for offering me an adoption. I want to accept the offering. I am working on an English class project. I have to write an article in collaboration with other 3 students, about the independence celebrations in Mexico. The article is in Wikipedia with the title: "Celebration of Mexican political anniversaries in 2010" We have to write the section called "Reflection". It would be nice that you check it up from time to time and give us suggestions, so that it is fine to Wikipedia standards. We have not started yet, but we will do it in a few days. In case you need it, my teacher username is: Thelmadatter. Thank you Jsoto89 (talk) 17:53, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Jorge, excellent! Will look at the article in a little bit. Which other classmates are you working on this with? Best, Robert ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 17:58, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Robert, the other classmates' usernames are: Mph267, Lr.dinghi and Natquintana. Regarding the project, I thought we would have more time to do it, but today the teacher told us that it is due Friday because she wants us to do other article. You can check it after Friday and it should be done. Next week I will tell you the new article we will be working on. Thanks, Jorge Jsoto89 (talk) 01:33, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

This would be the same project as the one mentioned here I believe. Is there a central organizational page to keep track of the various teams? Netalarmtalk 01:51, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Excellent idea! Let me know if you guys set up a page, either that, or I can set up one in my userspace. -R ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 02:05, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, for the new project I have chosen the topic portfolio investment. It has a page with that title already created, so I will add content to it. I will probably start next Monday because this weekend I will not be at home. I am going to the Morelia Film Festival in Morelia City. I tell you when something is written. Kind regards. Jsoto89 (talk) 23:50, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Robert, I had not written to you before because I have had some troubles with my topic. The topic of portfolio investment is already in Wikipedia with a different title. When I realized, I decided to change it, but it was not easy for me to find another one. Every idea that came to my mind was already in Wikipedia. If it was not, then I could not find enough reliable sources. Finally I have the tentative topic of Industrial Property in Mexico. It is not in Wikipedia and it has good sources. Do you think it would be ok? I need help creating the Wikipedian section. Could you help me with it? Hopefully after creating the section, I will be able to upload some paragraphs straightaway. Kind regards Jsoto89 (talk) 00:19, 25 October 2010 (UTC) Hi Robert, I have created the article. You can check it searching for: Industrial property law in Mexico Jsoto89 (talk) 22:36, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Are you still accepting adoptees?

Hi Robert, I'm new to Wikipedia and looking for an adopter. I came across you on Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area/Adopters. I'm looking for work — basically someone to point me to a list of tasks that need to get done and how to best tackle them.

Sure! What in particular are you interested in? -Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 21:46, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

re your comment

Hey, Just wanted to note that I largely agree with your comments on BLP. Perhaps you'd like to add your feelings about the religious belief issue at Talk:Andre Geim? NickCT (talk) 19:49, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Will do. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 19:53, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Many thanks, NickCT (talk) 20:02, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

re your comments

I see you've been through the famous "who's a Jew" debate. Frankly, there really should be some kind of higher ruling as this matter as the issue has repeated itself over and over on several different articles. It always gets gummed up and muddied by people arguing "Jewish" is both ethnicity and religious. My personal feeling is that the rules in WP:BLPCAT should apply, and that "self-identification" should be key. NickCT (talk) 05:31, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

I'd nominate you right now

...except at this point, I don't think it would exactly help the RFA. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 19:17, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence SoV! I think I'd decline at this point though, as I still have a lot to learn in certain areas. Thanks!!! Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 19:22, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Andre Geims article

Hello there, Please check users Therexbanner, Gladsmile, Närking, and Christopher Connor. They still reverting edits to the Andre Geim article. There is not any source that states correctly about Geim's ethnic (except his Jewishness). His nationality, origin and so on are already clear. Personally, it seems like pure (but a bit hidden)vandalism/trolling, these guys does enter into any discussions there but not with real sourced opinion, they are doing a sort of anagram of information in sources. You may give them some serious warning, but this may not be enough. In any case, your co-operation may be required in the future. PLEASE CHECK THEM CAREFULLY. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.108.16.199 (talk) 22:56, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Anon! First, please remember to sign your talkpage posts with ~~~~
As for the actions in particular that you mention:
  • As I am an involved editor, other than for unrelated stuff (such as civility issues), I refuse to issue any such warnings on content.
  • Also, as I am not an admin, I cannot block or ban or sanction them (as alluded to with your "but this may not be enough" comment?)
    • That aside, even if I were an admin, I would absolutely, positively, refuse to act - as once again, I am an involved editor.
With that in mind, you may wish to present your concerns to an uninvolved admin or editor. Best, Robert ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 23:04, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Take a look at his post on the article's talk page. --Therexbanner (talk) 23:08, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
I already issued a Lv4, and about to AIV. Take a look at the anon's talk page. ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 23:10, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
This one traceroutes to a sparsely populated area of Thailand (his/her other vandal IP was traced to Moscow.) At least he knows how to use proxies.--Therexbanner (talk) 23:15, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

talk page "stalking"

Hi -- I don't have any problem with people commenting on my talk page unless they presume to speak for me or do things that create difficulties for me, neither of which you have done. Regards, Looie496 (talk) 06:18, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Much thanks for the response, and glad to hear I'm not creating any problems. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 06:22, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Questions...

Hey, Robert. What is it I can help you with? Xenophrenic (talk) 02:38, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, not much, but thanks for the offer. Just pointing out that perhaps you posted the wrong diff over there... Best, Robert ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 02:46, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
You are very welcome. I double-checked after seeing your comment, and it is indeed the correct diff. I've requested that an editor retract an untruthful (and frankly, insulting) comment about me. He makes only one comment about me in that edit, so his request for me to "point it out" does not appear to me to be genuine. As for your additional suggestion that an Admin is more than capable of dealing with it: I was hoping to spare him that, and allow him to correct it himself. He has had less than favorable results from admins as of late, and he doesn't need more piled on. Regards, Xenophrenic (talk) 02:56, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks much for the explanation. I'm sure it will get dealt with one way or another. Thanks, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 03:07, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
I just noticed your follow-up in this matter. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort, even if your advice wasn't heeded. I also wanted to apologize if my introductory greeting here on your talk page came off as a little terse; at the time, I was feeling a little ... well ... terse. Best regards, Xenophrenic (talk) 08:36, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

No problem. Sorry if it didnt help much... Thanks for the message! Best, Robert ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 09:43, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Regarding 3RR

In case you didn't know, a series of unbroken edits is counted as a single edit for purposes of 3RR. I do a series of individual edits rather than one monolithic edit to facilitate the ability of other editors to revert only the edits they object to. There was no content dispute going on when I started. I made one effective edit as a series of edits [1], I was then reverted by Dlabtot who did not provide citations when restoring uncited material as required by WP:V, so I reverted him (first revert). After discussing on the talk page, the only objections were to my removal of the uncited material, not to any of my other edits, so I restored those. Technically it's my second revert, but it was uncontroversial. Please actually read the WP:3RR policy ("A series of consecutive saved revert edits by one user with no intervening edits by another user counts as one revert.") before supporting baseless accusations of edit warring against another editor. And please also note that the whole series of edits wasn't even a revert, I was simply editing the article to make what I considered good faith improvements. The first "revert" came after Dlabtot's edit. Yworo (talk) 03:34, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

I thought you were warned for edit warring, and not 3RR? That aside, I am not accusing you of anything, and you dont need to explain yourself to me. I simply pointed out, giving you the full benefit of doubt that it was not your intent, that under the circumstances, I am sure there would be people who thought your actions were edit warring (and again, note I did not say 3RR). More importantly, as the topic at hand happens to be one of my favorite writers, lets see if all of us can make the article into something better by finding a balance between all our views? If you're willing, I'm willing to spend some time on that talk page to help out in fixing up the article. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 03:39, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
