Hair cells[edit]
I removed your query in Talk:Hair cell as it looked like a non-sequitur in response to an old talk topic. After that, I noticed the bit in the article that you may have been reacting to, so I took it out. It wasn't exactly wrong, but I can see how it was misleading. The point, I think, was that hearing only goes to about 11 kHz in birds, and that in mammals the outer hair cells extend that. I'm not sure the point is correct, but I took out the part about birds and 11 kHz and asked for a citation on the OHCs being responsible for pushing the limit to 200 kHz in some marine mammals.
If you have a comment, it's better to start a new talk section than to reply to an ancient one. And be more clear with your point. Dicklyon (talk) 23:40, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
