I honestly do appreciate your efforts to contribute, but copying text from other pages can get Wikipedia itself into legal trouble (especially from copyrighted pages, and most/all pages are copyrighted). Feel free to engage in fair use of other websites, though -- use parts of them as references, paraphrasing some sections into your own words without lifting out the page's whole content, and then cite the pages appropriately. Apologies for any offense, I intended none. I will ask, though, that you try to understand where I've reached my own conclusions. When a lengthy table like that appears on Wikipedia, obviously very deeply researched information, and there's no reference or citation provided, the table was very obviously copied from somewhere else, and probably without asking permission. Copyright law is a bit complicated, but one of the cruxes is that directly copy-pasting large sections of content from one website to another is almost invariably a violation, either of the website's rights, or of the copyright inherently granted to the original author. I did find one website which offered that table ([1]), but didn't locate any others; feel free to give me links if you'd like to bolster your case. My current belief is that someone put a great deal of time and effort into that table, and probably didn't intend for it to be freely copied. At the absolute minimum, a citation is very much required, out of respect for the original author's work. I see that you've made contributions in the past; I respect that, and I'd like to personally thank you for the time you've taken to help the project. Also, regarding those Unreal Tournament images you mentioned, I have no connection with those discussions or deletions, but the impression I get from your talk page is that you uploaded them without providing any copyright or licensing information. Quite probably screenshots will qualify as fair use, and you can find more information at Wikipedia:Image copyrights, and especially at the fair use templates section. Images without verifiable copyright are deleted, after a short period; it's up to an image uploader to tell the community if an image is fair use. It's a bit tricky to work with it all, I know. There's two issues you're bringing up, here. First, is the table you uploaded a copyright violation? It's a bit difficult to tell. One thing I notice: the various websites you've linked are displaying different versions of that table, implying that they're either using different sources or creating the tables on their own, using their own research, and likewise implying that there's a certain degree of opinion involved (see WP:NPOV, another concern). Like I said before, my impression is that someone put a good deal of time and effort into these tables; it's not quite the same as listing a team's scores -- that takes a glance at the scoreboard or press release -- and this table is a bit more involved. We don't have permission to directly copy someone else's work; in this case, it's probably more appropriate to link to the websites in question. The second issue: should Wikipedia abide by copyright law? That's neither my nor your decision. Our personal opinions of copyright law have little or no direct effect on the legal framework; sure, the law may need adjustment, but I would strongly oppose any attempt to use Wikipedia as a soapbox for the purpose -- if I want to take a legal risk to make a point, I'll do it, but I won't readily drag someone else, much less an entire online community, into it.
