Just wanted to send a particular welcome as you asked some great questions which I am looking forward to answering for you—I probably won’t get a chance before tomorrow but I wanted to let you know I saw and appreciate them and will reply in detail soon! Hey, I'm actually familiar with wikipedia and have edited some in the past. Although it's been a while. I understand quite a few of the policies that I think will be pertinent here like NPOV and NOR.
At any rate thanks for your kind welcome. Dealing with random influxes of traffic is never much fun.

Ah in that case welcome back, and thanks for your understanding about dealing with the traffic! It's all good in the end, the truth is encouraging the expansion of the editor ranks is important to me so I view things like this as opportunity. But for sure it's a bit of scrum and the ensuing wall of text does complicate our usual process of working toward consensus--tough when no one's read everything, and the same questions get repeated, only increasing the volume of text to read... But you did ask great questions, and got at some things I think are missing from the conversation so my reply might end up repeating some things that you already know--thanks for bearing with me.
Anyway! Yes glad you're here and if you're returning, I might as well take the opportunity to make sure you know of the policy on multiple accounts--I presume any old accounts you have (if any) are abandoned but you'll just want to make sure, and if you want to be extra above board you could declare them, say on your userpage or to ArbCom or OTRS (more info here). It's mainly to deflect any future issues but can't hurt.
Happy editing! Innisfree987 (talk) 03:27, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
To be honest it's been about a decade and I don't remember what they were, I likely just edited anonymously.
