Notability for conventions
[edit]I've declined the speedy for the convention's AfC page at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Arkansas Anime Festival, but the problem is that you still have to show where the convention is notable. Just existing is not enough to show notability for an event. (WP:ITEXISTS) None of the sources on the page count towards notability guidelines, as they're all either routine database entries or they're primary. (WP:PRIMARY, WP:TRIVIAL) AnimeCons is not usable as a reliable source because not only is it a routine database, but it runs off of information given to them directly by the con, which makes it sort of primary. No amount of primary sources can show notability. You'd have to find coverage such as news articles about the convention and so on. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:45, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Islamic schools and branches, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Isha. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The file File:Hijikata Uniform.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
