Petula Clark

As a longtime fan of Petula Clark, I can understand and appreciate your interest in her, but unfortunately many of the articles you are creating do not meet Wikipedia guidelines for content and style.

I am particulary concerned about the discography you keep adding to the bottom of articles. Because of the vast amount of material she has recorded and released over the years, a definitive discography would be far too large for Wikipedia. In the one you have been using, the album and single sections mix US and UK releases but are by no means inclusive, and Finian's Rainbow is a soundtrack and really can not be considered a Clark recording per se. The EP section baffles me completely since it includes so few of those that were released.

If it is your intention to add this discography to articles about her US releases, then I suggest you create a template that includes only US albums and singles.

The fact you didn't create a template at all suggests you are unfamiliar with how Wikipedia works. You probably should acquaint yourself with style and notability guidelines before you create more articles, only to find them deleted, which would be a shame after all the effort and passion you've poured into your work.

I hope you don't mind my offering you so much unsolicited advice, but I hope you'll continue to contribute to Wikipedia and I want to make you aware of some style and content guidelines.

- In the infobox and within the text of a short article, you only need to link a name once.

- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and as such it needs to include only facts. Be careful not to include POV (point of view), i.e. comments such as "Overall, the album definitely represents a shift in the musical career of Petula Clark, showcasing more smooth ballads than the skippy, upbeat songs she became so well known for," unless it's a quote from a professional review, in which case the source must be referenced.

- Please check your facts. I found some errors in your edits. For example, the My Love LP was recorded in the United States, not London, and the song "The Other Man's Grass" was released as a single in the US. You stated it was released as the title-track of an EP, which is inaccurate.

Thank you for uploading File:The zombies parrot.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged.
