Sanford[edit]

Hi, I saw your message even though you removed it. The reason I reverted the edit was that I believe there were serious issues regarding whether the article maintained a neutral point of view. The article is tagged with multiple issues so it clearly needs work and it's good to have someone with a genuine interest in improving it but there are several points to address with your edit. I would suggest reading a few Wikipedia policies such as WP:NPOV, WP:COI, WP:PEACOCK and WP:CITING SOURCES before reviewing the edit again. Hope this helps. You're welcome to make edits to the page, Wikipedia is an open encyclopedia and you have as much right as anyone to edit it. As long as you adhere to the guidelines, such as the ones I pointed out in my previous message, then you should have no problems. It can be a steep learning curve at times to maintain an encyclopedic tone, especially when dealing with a topic you're close to, if you have any further questions then I'll help if I can.
