December 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Naresh Bhardwaj. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 11:00, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Yamla, sorry for any mistakes made on my part. Could you specify which part you found to be unreferenced or poorly referenced? Thank you. --Rosetownk Rosetownk (talk) 17:00, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You claimed that multiple investigations found the allegations to be unsubstantiated. This is not true, at least not with the citations you added. For example, the Edmonton police did not determine the allegations were unsubstantiated, only that they decided not to press charges. The citation you used, Global News, makes no claims whatsoever that anyone found the claims unsubstantiated. It doesn't use that term at all. In fact, it notes there were sworn declarations indicating the charges were accurate. Please understand, I'm definitely not claiming the charges were accurate, only indicating what the news article states. It's critically important that the article only indicates what reliable sources have stated and it's critically important we (Wikipedia editors) avoid original research (WP:NOR) by making uncited conclusions based on that information. --Yamla (talk) 17:23, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
