If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Jack90s15 (talk) 23:29, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve The Yellow World[edit]

Hello, Rosy.travieso,

Thank you for creating The Yellow World.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Good work, the article just needs some copyediting for grammar and cohesion. The awards for the television show should probably be grouped together with the rest of the information about Polseres Vermelles

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Nomination of Born Too White for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Born Too White is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Born Too White until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. DGG ( talk ) 21:45, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Film articles[edit]

Hi - I saw that your film article is up for deletion. I wanted to help explain why:

  • This focuses too much on the general issue of albinism in Tanzania rather than the film itself. Keep in mind that while this is the focus of the documentary, the article itself should only cover it as it pertains to the documentary. I have a general template for film articles here, which can help with cleanup of the article. This is a brochure that also goes over what should be in a film article.
  • This needs sourcing that focuses specifically on the film, like reviews. While the topic of albinism in Tanzania may be notable, the documentary doesn't inherit this notability. This needs things like coverage of the film like reviews and articles that discuss the movie in depth in places like newspapers and academic and scholarly sources.

I hope that this helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:01, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Hepatitis Country has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article on a documentary sourced entirely to the documentary itself. I was unable to locate even a single independent review of the film in a reliable source. Fails WP:NFILM and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
