This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Dewritech (talk) 16:03, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article for the Company Accurate Technologies Inc was selected for what you call a speedy deletion. I closely followed the “your first article” guidelines. I also found existing wikis such as this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ETAS_Group, who are in the same classification to influence my writing style. All resources were sited, and definitions tagged. There was no advertising in the article, just the impartial history of the company and its products. This company has been around for over 20 years. They are a part of ECU calibration history. They are not a conflict of interest to wiki, otherwise articles such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_Informatik and the one listed above should also be removed. -Rowebot86 (talk) 17:18, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked - Username problem[edit]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Rowebot86, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

This user name does not end in the name bot, it ends with 86. My last name is Rowe, so this is a clever username that I use.

Decline reason:

Hi Rowe, while the username doesn't end with bot, the username still gives the impression it is a bot account (we have several 'numbered' bot accounts). Please feel free to select a different username for renaming, or just create a new account under a name that is within our username policy, and abandon this account. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This is a ridiculous block. Yes, we have a whole bunch of numbered bot accounts, but no RoweBot85 or anything close to it. He should be allowed to edit. Daniel Case (talk) 15:38, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 22:45, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:55, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, with all the warnings, blockings, etc on your talkpage lately this note is IMO not a good idea. While you should sign your posts, don't get the wrong impression: We're happy you're here, and hope you'll find your way soon enough. Don't sweat these kinds of warnings too much.
