Hi Rowlz, thanks for your continued edits to Francis Bicknell Carpenter, I edited a lot of what you added since it was either already mentioned earlier in the article or wasn't written in a neutral point of view, but I tried to retain the main points you added. I hope my edits didn't introduce inaccuracies.

Regarding the section regarding the value of his paintings and their appeal for collectors, you still didn't provide a source for your claims aside from mentioning the New York Times, which isn't enough information to be verifiable. Rather than outright removing it, I just added a citation needed tag, but if you have a link to a NYT article that verifies the claim, you can go ahead and add it to the article using either the Visual Editor or by following the instructions over at WP:CITE

Yes I see you edited it to be shorter and more precise. Thank you. The New York times quote was from an article that I found on Google. It was a small quotes from a long article which most was already mentioned in Wikipedia so it doesn't really matter that you took it out. Sounds good, just make sure that the source you find on that comes from a reliable and verifiable source. Doesn't neccessarily need to be a webpage(Carpenter's article cites plenty of books including his memoir that you described), but it does need to be something that a reader could verify the validity of for themselves.
