Linlithgowshire[edit]

As of late, local council documentation and letters for planning proposals/permissions has been listing the postal code for the former royal burgh as “Linlithgowshire”. I thought it may help to update the page to make note of that such change. Royalisttheory (talk) 16:00, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Royalisttheory. If you are updating the article, it would be helpful if you could cite sources supporting your edits. Best regards. MBlaze Lightning 08:52, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

For changes to grammar and already previously confirmed information, citations are not needed.

Adding reference to Wikipedia articles[edit]

Just follow the steps as shown, and fill in the details

Hello Royalisttheory! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding well-formatted references is easy.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite". Click on it.
  2. Then click on "templates".
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and then fill all relevant details.

This will add a well-formatted reference, which will allow other people to see where you got your information from. You can read more about this at Help:Edit toolbar, or watch this video: File:RefTools.ogv. Thanks and regards. —MBlaze Lightning 08:54, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
