Hi! I have notes for your drafts. I'll separate them by draft:
- Robert Triptow
- Be careful with quotes - you don't want to use too many of them, as this can actually make the article seem less informative rather than more. It also poses an issue with fair use, as we can really only use quotes as long as there's context and the wording can't be rephrased in words alone without losing something imperative. I'm more looking at the personal life and bibliography sections. I get the impression that these are just notes and you'll work them into something nice like what you have in the career section, but I wanted to mention this just in case.
- You listed that he has a husband - this needs a source to back it up. It also may sound a bit odd, but the source will also need to have the word "husband" listed. The reason I specify this is because sometimes, rarely, someone who is LGBT may be married to someone of the opposite sex. This source mentions husband in specific as well as the name of his spouse (William Blakely), so that should be helpful on that end if you don't have a source for that. You could pair this up with another source that gives more or different details about Triptow's spouse.
- The bibliography section should really be just a list of books. To go into more detail you should create a works section, where you can go into more detail about his notable works.
- I removed the header over the lead, in order to show how it would look when it's moved live, as there shouldn't be headers over the lead.
Other than that the additions look to be good so far.
- Black lesbian literature
- When adding content, make sure that you write in past tense unless it's something like the plot of a book or movie, as these are all things that happened in the past. Present tense also reads a little weird as well.
- I know that most of the article wasn't written by you, but if you wanted to try to find sourcing and/or work on taking care of the original research in the article, that would be amazing of you to do.
- I removed the heading on this one as well.
