Speedy deletion nomination of Scalable Multimedia in Local Education (SMILE)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Scalable Multimedia in Local Education (SMILE), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. That article is pretty umabiguously promotional. Try either reading our policy on how and why articles should be written from a neutral point of view, or comparing against other articles, especially those labelled "good" or "featured". If I were to write a suitable article for Wikipedia, I'd have to scrap everything there are start again. Wily D 08:13, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you're interested in trying to write an encyclopaedic articles, try some of the instructional pages listed by User:I dream of horses in their welcome note. If you have any questions, please ask. You might consider writing a draft in User:Rreginald/Sandbox, and moving it into the mainspace once it's in good shape. Note that Wikipedia articles need to be verifiable, and our usual inclusion criterion is that an article subject has been the subject of substantial coverage in reliable sources.
