Q Live one

[edit]

The text is more neutral. I think that there is a question still over notability, since we don't really know much about the station in terms of listeners, profit or staff. If you recreate, I'm happy to leave it to others to decide that issue.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Q Live One, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. If your recreate again, you can use the logo under "fair use" rationale, see Xerox for how it's done. The fact that other radio articles may have problems doesn't help you. It just means no one has picked up the problems. If you feel it's worth pursuing, you need to talk to the admin who deleted this time. i don't think you have addressed the notability issues either. You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article, you could post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:19, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Q Live One requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

I can't really see why using SHOUTcast makes the station notable, so you would need to explain why. The information about staff, numbers of hits on your website etc, needs to be in the article, although you can obviously reference it to your website or other relevant source. You would need to say As of December 2011, average numbers of hits per month were... or something similar. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:11, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
