Please stop using Wikipedia as a forum[edit]

Hello Ruby2021! I see you've been going around on several talk pages proposing your ideas on COVID-19. While some of these sound interesting, we here at Wikipedia can't do anything at all with them. We're an encyclopedia, which means that we summarize existing and widely accepted knowledge which has been published and tested by working scientists and scholars. You'll find several relevant sections on our page about what Wikipedia is not: we're not a publisher of original thought (as all your proposed ideas are), we don't function as a means to promote anyone's unpublished ideas or inventions, we're not a social networking site or a discussion forum for ideas on how to fight the pandemic, etc., etc. I've warned you about this before, as has the editor who removed your comment on a talk page. I will warn you now that this is not allowed, and that some people could even get angry about it! If you keep on doing this, it might get you blocked from editing. So please stop doing this now, and take some time to read about our policies, such as our three core content policies or our five pillars. Thanks! ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 09:48, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto, this [[1]] is a violation of wp:forum, please read wp:not and wp:talk.Slatersteven (talk) 09:59, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And you seem to have been doing a lot of it, so stop.Slatersteven (talk) 10:01, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning, if you soapbox once more to spam your promotion of your ideas I will report you.Slatersteven (talk) 12:25, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use talk pages for inappropriate discussions, as you did at Darwinism. - DVdm (talk) 12:28, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In short, Article talk pages are NOT a blog's comment section, they're for IMPROVING THE ARTICLE. If you want to write middle-school essays on the Issues of the Day, you can get a blog of your own. --Calton | Talk 15:32, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
