Esh (letter)

Bij dit artikel voeg je toe dat sch in het Nederlands op het einde van een woord klinkt als de esh. Is dat ook zo, en hoe vaak dan vraag ik me af? Als het in een minderheid van de gevallen in het NL's maar een esh oplevert dan kan het er toch beter uit? Deze woorden die op sch eindigen in het Nls klinken allemaal alsof ze eindigen met een s, niet met zo'n sj...

Zal wel aan dialecten liggen dan? Bij mij is in alle woorden die je noemt sj, en ik dácht dat ik ongeveer ABN sprak... Maar als de meerderheid s gebruikt (weet ik dus niet te vertellen) dan kan dat er idd beter uit, of met een opmerking als “in some dialects”. RubySS (talk) 08:39, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Waarom maakte je dan een aanpassing als je niet weet wat je doet?? Ik heb het gerevert. Welk dialect in het Nederlands laat de rij woorden dan zo klinken? Of was het gewoon een foutje en niet een specifiek dialect? Als het over het Gouds hebt, ik heb daar jaren in de buurt gewoond, dat is het niet. Snap je iets van taal, of gokte je maar dat het Nederlands hetzelfde als het Duits werkt bij deze uitgang qua uitspraak en kun je maar beter niet meer dit soort wijzigingen proberen, Ruby? Dialect is alles wat geen standaardtaal (ABN) is. Ik sprak uit eigen ervaring, en ik weet precies wat ik doe: ik spreek isch aan het einde van een woord uit als [iʃ] (en dus NIET als [IPA|sʲ], wat sommigen doen in een woord als chef). Zoals ik zei, ik dácht dat ik aardig ABN sprak (vandaar dus dat ik sprak uit eigen ervaring). Trouwens, Duits spreek ik niet eens. Waar het dan wel vandaan komt weet ik niet, maar het grootste deel van mijn familie woont helemaal niet in de buurt van Gouda. Waarom ik "het" niet weet te vertellen is omdat ik dacht dat ik "het" wist, maar jij me in twijfel bracht. Ik weet, samengevat, dus niet te vertellen of jij gelijk hebt ("-isch" is "s" in het ABN) of dat ik te naïef ben geweest door je gelijk te geloven, en die "s" gewoon aan jouw dialect/sociolect/streektaal/hoe-je-het-ook-wilt-noemen ligt. Kijk eens op deze pagina: klik. Sch klinkt op het einde van een woord als een [s]. De bibliografie van het artikel lijkt mij goed te vertrouwen. Maar als je denkt dat sch aan het einde van een woord iha niet als een [s] klinkt, kom dan gerust met tegenargumenten, ik ben benieuwd. Luister anders een goed naar het NOS of RTL journaal vanavond of die het anders doen dan jij, met je mysterieuze dialect. Welke is dat nu eigenlijk? Groeten!
