Image copyright problem with File:Croke.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Croke.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:29, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Croke[edit]

I happened by Kevin Croke while assessing some new Irish articles for the Ireland WikiProject and saw that the way you did your references was not very good or per the recommended guidelines. I turned the 3 inline links (plain links are not recommended) into proper, filled in, inline citations by the use of the citation templates. I moved the other links that were originally in the references section to the new external links section. By rights if these are supposed to be references, they should be used inline where they confirm data written in the prose about the subject, otherwise they can stay as external links. However, if you leave them as external links, please give them some details, such as Kevin Croke biography or some appropriate title. BTW, I also reduced the image size so it does not force the infobox to expand beyond it normal settings, but, when I look at your talk page I see that you have been warned that the image itself has no copyright details because we take copyright issues very seriously. If you took this photo you should decide which copyright you wish to assign to the image. Perhaps you would like to release it into the public domain, or use a Creative Commons licence, either way you must provide a free licence or it will be deleted. Hope that helps but ask me any questions if you need to. Cheers ww2censor (talk) 20:27, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template categories[edit]

Please note that {{template category}} should only be used on categories that contain only templates. Category:Streets in Dublin and Category:Squares in Dublin do not contain any templates and should not be so tagged. Thank you. --Pascal666 08:52, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Jennie's Bake Shop requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mr. Vernon (talk) 04:58, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
