October 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Rutgers School of Nursing have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Rutgers School of Nursing. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 20:06, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the reminder. Runarchives (talk) 20:42, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You shouldn't be editing the page at all, if you are affiliated with the school. Please see the conflict of interest notice below. AntiDionysius (talk) 21:37, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Rutgers School of Nursing, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Runarchives. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 19:59, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
