Dear Rusdo,

I see that your last comment on Talk:Vaticinium_ex_eventu#Gospel_Dating was not taken well again by MjolnirPants. May I ask you to please not respond to them? It's quite clear that they take any suggestion of anti-religious bias as very insulting, even though the presence of such a bias is unmistakable. From that point, there's really nothing to be done, and any further back-and-forth will only lead to more aggravation for all parties involved. The text-only mode of collaboration on Wikipedia often leads to extremely stressful situations, and it's really better to avoid that as much as possible.

Some things to watch out for when copy-editing

Dear Rusdo,

Thank you for copy-editing a number of pages. I reviewed some of them, and noted that you made a few fairly common beginner mistakes:

• A book title such as Jesus: An Historian's Review of the Gospels should not be copy-edited (as you did when you changed it to Jesus: A Historian's Review of the Gospels).
• Likewise, literal quotes should not be copy-edited (as you did a few times in Christ myth theory): it is not our place to change the words used by the source itself.
• You changed some occurrences of British English (travelled, verbs ending on -ise such as baptise, characterise etc.) to American English (traveled, baptize, characterize, etc.). However, the rule at Wikipedia is that each article should use the variety of English used by its original author, unless there is an explicit consensus at the talk page to use another variety. Most importantly, each article should be consistent in its use of one particular variety. For this reason, it is important before correcting a spelling mistake to check whether it isn't simply due to the article using a different variety of English.
