@Hb1290: My contention is that there is no substantiation for the name Devendra Kula Velaalar being used in this page. This name does not belong to the pallar community this page describes. The original name of the community described in that page is "Pallar". That community has given a request to tamilnadu and indian government for changing to this new name. The government had not taken any decision on this request so far due to the opposition by existing velalar communities. This is the reason why i added a customised disclaimer in that page to show that this name is disputed. I also added additional section "Opposition by Existing Velalar Communities" to highlight the oppositions to this name. I feel wikipedia should not allow a false claim to get legitimacy. Misuse of maintenance template aside, the source you cited for that section strikes me as WP:QUESTIONABLE, given it describes itself as an "opinions forum" and the way the section itself was written was on the edge of violating WP:NPOV.
