Hi, Ryan, thanks for message. You can create a new version of the article at any time. However, if your article is to survive, you need to make sure you understand the following.
- Your article must not be copied from a website unless it states clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your instructor. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or have permission, isn't sufficient. This is why the original article was deleted.
- You must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that he meets the sport notability guidelines. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references. As a matter of policy, all biographies of living people will be deleted if they do not have references.
- Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Facts, not opinions.
- You may have a conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your instructor is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. - Hi Ryan, you needed a {{reflist}} tag to show your references, now added. Also, "cite web" needs a title to show properly, and the access date is the date you looked at it, the magazine date goes in with its title.
- To link to other Wikipedia article, you don't need the http bit, just the article title. In fact, there shouldn't be any url links outside the References and External links sections.
- I removed the claim that it's a leading school, that's unsourced spam. My editsJimfbleak - talk to me? 06:11, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- "widely considered" looks spammy and can't be justified by one ref, better to stick with the factual bit, that Cagewriter ranked it in the top ten. The source may not be acceptable anyway, since it appears to be someone's blog — any reason that it has more weight than, say, my opinion? If you use the ref, just format it exactly the same as the other one. I've changed "country" to US (there are other countries, including the one I live in) Basic facts like his nationality, where Top Team is based, DoB etc would be goodJimfbleak - talk to me? 13:00, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Just put <ref>{{cite web| author = | title= | work= | url= | publisher= | accessdate= }}</ref> behind the text you want to support and fill in as much as you can (only url and title are mandatory). - I've made these edits, mainly MoS. It looks OK now, but just a couple of suggestions.
- Where you have lists of names, put them in alphabetical order unless there is a good reason for the current order
- I know nothing about Broward County, is its hall of fame really a significant achievement?

Infobox and images[edit]
The infobox is easy, just adapt the one for Rich Attonito. Images on Wikipedia must be public domain or CC-BY-SA 3.0 Licensed You cannot use any image that doesn't clearly and explicitly state that it is one of these. The ATT page says "© Copyright BJJ Heroes: the jiu jitsu encyclopedia 2012. All rights reserved.", so no chance there. I haven't checked Facebook, but I'd be surprised if the image there had compatible licences. You could
- Take a picture yourself and upload it as CC-BY-SA 3.0 Licensed
- Persuade the copyright owner of a suitable image to donate it text to Wikipedia, as described here
- See if there is an image on Flickr with a suitable licence, or an owner willing to change the licence

- You formatted the image as if it was free-standing, but the infobox automatically assumes thumb, file: and so on, so the text above the image were the bits it didn't need. There is also a separate infobox line for the description Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:07, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Article[edit]
Anyone can edit any article at any time. You, or anyone else, can add or remove any of the text. You know the drill by now, it's a biography of a living person, so it needs proper references, neutral tone etc. You don't need to consult me or anyone else, that's a useful process for ironing out sandboxed stuff, but your article is out in the big wide world now. You only need to worry if it's tagged as having problems, or if it's proposed for deletion, but it's not happened yet, so relax (: Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:26, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
