Engineering Undergraduate Society of the University of British Columbia[edit]

Wikipedia is not a directory. Ardenn 05:50, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Ardenn 05:57, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your edits to Engineering Undergraduate Society of the University of British Columbia, but as you will see on the articles talk page, it has a number of severe problems. Please contact me if you have any questions, but you must improve this article or it almost certainly be deleted. Andrewjuren(talk) 06:57, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've been trying to improve it with resistance... ryanc 20:26, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From Deletion_policy#Limitations_on_renomination: An exception can be made if a discussion has no consensus and a severe lack of contributors. There is no policy or consensus for a hard time limit before an article can be renominated, but some people are likely to state 'keep' for the reason that it was already discussed last week. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Knight.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Knight.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Cairn.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
