A tag has been placed on Vedic Cultural Center Sammamish WA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hello Ryerrams, welcome to Wikipedia. Jokes aside, the article you submitted does need to be rewritten, but not in the way that you think. The prose of the article, by and large, was acceptable; however, your article did not state any claim of notability as to why it ought to be included, nor did it include any reliable sources to allow the claim of notability to be verified. Further, your use of "[o]ur community" towards the end of the article led me to believe that you may have a conflict of interest towards this subject, and thus should probably refrain from writing about it. Please also see our business and organization FAQ for more information. Thanks, and I apologize if your first experience here was a harsh one. GlassCobra 18:56, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeap. He does need to read up on reliable sources. Or most of his edits will be reverted as unsourced - here is the note for it:

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.Wikidas© 20:24, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
