I understand you removed your note, but there were some valid aspects to it. Still, there is a quality that encyclopedic writing does not need to be dull.

Some of the confusion may have been from using terms of art. Extracting "strategic information" can easily be relevant at the tactical level. A term from mathematical game theory is "games of strategy", as opposed to "games of chance". That was the usage implied, not that analysis is relevant only at the national level. Howard C.
