For some reason it's not showing on the edit, so I'm posting it here. The content has been removed because it did not read like an encyclopedia article, had some conjectural language, and could use some better sources. I'm aware it's a real event, and I believe the content should be reworked and added to the article. Proposed deletion of Cretalepisma

The article Cretalepisma has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Nothing in this article is supported by the cited source. Image is copied from [1], and the text about a 4 mm cockroach nymph and 1 mm beetle describes the particular fossil specimen in the image that was offered for sale.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
