"dead links"[edit]

Please stop removing WP:REDLINKS unless you have a good reason to believe that the topic will not or should not have an article; red links are not "dead links". I explained that in my edit summary here, yet you just removed it again on that article. In this particular case, consensus has been longstanding and clear that all SCOTUS opinions merit articles. postdlf (talk) 12:12, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that! As a newbie, I accidentally inserted links to nonexistent wikipedia pages and thought others had done the same! I will try to go back to the places I've done that and put links back in so that articles can be created! Is that a way to alert editors to articles that should be created, or just a way to ensure the link will be there once the articles are created?
