Please do not use <strike>; this old element has been deprecated for over a decade, and it's use here triggers the HTML "lint" cleanup filters many of us WP:GNOMEs are using to clean up Wikipedia in preparation for migrating fully to HTML5. The correct elements to use are <s> for typographic strike-though ( what you probably want most of the time, e.g. for indicating a redacted comment), while <del> is semantic markup that indicates deletion/rejection and is used with <ins> (inserted/replacement material) in marking up revision of draft material such as a proposal.  — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼  00:32, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
