Information icon Hello, I'm Venkat TL. I noticed that you recently removed content from 2022 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Membership

[edit]

Any membership figures that you add to an infobox need to be supported by a source that reports it in authorial voice, and not just as a claim by the organization. In other words, the source needs to say, for instance, that the VHP has 6.8 million members, and not that it claims 6.8 million members. That latter fact may still be worth including, but not in the infobox, without attribution. This is a serious issue of neutrality and verifiability; please make sure to keep it in mind going forward. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Patiala_Assembly_Constituency does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Venkat TL (talk) 09:36, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Abohar Assembly Constituency, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Venkat TL (talk) 14:54, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

JDS+BSP moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, JDS+BSP, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Astraverse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Astraverse. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Unexplained removal of sourced information.

[edit]

I noticed your recent activity on "Khalistan Movement" where you removed sourced information without any explanation? You should know that the deletion of sourced data is prohibited on wikipedia, further if you delete sourced information definitely you will blocked from Wikipedia, so be careful and also remember that wikipedia is a neutral platform, don't delete anything which is not according to your personal beliefs, further if you want to delete something from an article first you can discuss about it on talk page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Party. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @SOURAVSHETTIGAR. Parties and alliances section in election articles is not an exhaustive list of all political parties contesting the election. Only parties with coverage from independent sources regarding candidates lists and campaigns should be added. There could be hundreds of parties contesting an election, all cannot be added.
