Strongly advise that List of kendama tricks be moved to the Kendama Wiki

[edit]

While your effort in making the list is appreciated, it's not encyclopedic content. That is, it's things that are of interest to players but are too detailed for the general public. I'd hate to see your work go to waste, so can you perhaps copy the code and move this over to a Kendama or Juggling/YoYo external wiki site?

I'm going to "Propose for Deletion" just so the issue can have a fair discussion. If somehow you don't get a chance to copy it before it's deleted, just contact the deleting admin (or any admin) and they can provide you the code to it can be rescued and hosted elsewhere, so it won't be lost.

Thanks again for your work, it's just not in Wikipedia's purview so needs to be somewhere else, though your efforts in helping to add WP:Notable content (things noted by uninvolved observers reporting on kendama) facts would be much appreciated. Proposed deletion of List of kendama tricks

[edit]

The article List of kendama tricks has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While nice work, the article is not encyclopedia content and would be best hosted on an external kendama/yoyo/juggling site. This is just too much detail from within the kendama community itself, not meeting WP:Notability guidelines for a broader interest.

Our wide readership should go the the Kendama article to get a basic understanding, and detailed info should be kept on specialist kendama wesbites.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
