License tagging for Image:GokuChichiWedding.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GokuChichiWedding.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:10, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Dragonball Wiki

[edit]
  • Hi there. I noticed you're a member of Wikiproject Dragonball, and I'm trying to recruit some people from that to contribute to the Dragon Ball Wiki. It's in terrible shape right now with pretty much no consistency or policies, and only this week have I been able to get Angela and Sannse to create some Forums for us over there. I've got a proposed Manual of Style going over there and would like some people to contribute to that to set up some policies and start making the wiki bigger, better, and more intelligible/consistent. If you're interested, please hop on over or talk to me. Thanks for the time, whether you're interested or not. Wildyoda 02:36, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Goku says farewell.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Goku says farewell.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:03, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An article that you have been involved in editing, Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might, has been proposed to be merged into another article. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going to the article, clicking on the (Discuss) link at the top of the article, and adding your comments on the discussion page. Thank you. --Pixelface (talk) 14:24, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Smallville timeline, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Smallville timeline

[edit]

An editor has nominated Smallville timeline, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Smallville timeline and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:59, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Goku battles Soba.JPG. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Hi, SSJConan. Per discussion at Talk:List of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes, I'm afraid that we're going to have to reorder this list into broadcast order, because the listing you've made (determining how the episodes fit together based on in-story clues) constitutes original research. However, I don't want your work to be completely lost, so I'm going to copy it to User:SSJConan/List of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes. If there's a reliable secondary source (like a published episode guide, or remarks by Joss Whedon or something) which supports the order you developed, it can be restored to article space. Sorry for the inconvenience. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 03:52, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, SSJConan, and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia!

I wanted to let you know that some editors are discussing at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes whether the article List of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes should be in Wikipedia. I encourage you to comment there if you think the article should be kept in the encyclopedia.

The deletion discussion doesn't mean you did something wrong. In fact, other editors may have useful suggestions on how you can continue editing and improving List of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes, which I encourage you to do. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the Help Desk.

Thanks again for your contributions! —Justin (koavf)TCM02:08, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
