Speedy deletion nomination of User:SSMOFFICE/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:SSMOFFICE/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~Liancetalk 02:09, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, SSMOFFICE. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:19, 17 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. What is your connection to the subject of your edits? 331dot (talk) 08:59, 17 June 2024 (UTC)

- voluntary work, no compensation SSMOFFICE (talk) 09:11, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- If you are their manager, that makes you a paid editor and you are required by the Terms of Use to disclose that(see WP:PAID). It does not require specific payment for edits(otherwise every paid editor would deny being specifically paid to edit). Please also read conflict of interest. I assume that you aren't their manager for free out of the goodness of your heart- but if you are, you still have a conflict of interest. You aren't likely to be unblocked to, in the near future, make conflict of interest related edits; what other topics might you edit about instead? We will first want to see an edit history from you through edits in other areas. 331dot (talk) 09:13, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for this vital information and reviews, I have been an editor years back, however with the time I've been off the platform, I lost control of my past Wiki account and so I created this new account on which am trying to relearn how everything works out. But now from your advice, I think if I continue like this, I will create more problems for my self and the subject on the platform. Let me hold the process here and give myself time to learn more as I reconsider to give it another shot in the future. Thanks again. SSMOFFICE (talk) 09:32, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
