Elliott Blackstone

I presume your grandfather Elliott Blackstone? Chinook, Montana is about a town in Montana; it is not about a person. Changing the Chinook article is not the way to correct Blackstone's place of birth.

Per wp:verifiability, Wikipedia goes by wp:reliable sources. In order to change his place of birth, you really would need a good source that would state such. This article http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Elliott-Blackstone-police-liaison-for-LGBT-2546262.php states that he was born in Montana. His obit http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/sfgate/obituary.aspx?page=lifestory&pid=19817754 says he grew up in Chinook MT.

Do you have anything that fits wp:reliable source which states he was born in Illinois? If you don't supply a source, it probably will get changed back to Chinook, Montana.
